Situated along Phang-Nga Rd in Talad Yai, Muang, this cozy spot serves up some of the best dishes that Italy has to offer, from freshly made pasta to mouthwatering pizza and delectable gelato.

The restaurant’s menu is a celebration of Italy’s rich culinary traditions, offering something for every palate. Start with their signature pasta dishes, where each plate is crafted with care, featuring homemade noodles and traditional sauces. Whether you’re a fan of a classic spaghetti bolognese or prefer something more adventurous like a creamy carbonara, the pasta at Oblò is a must-try.

What really sets Oblò apart, though, is their pizza. Prepared in an authentic wood-fired oven, each pizza is a crispy, cheesy delight. The crust strikes a perfect balance between thin and chewy, and the toppings are always fresh. A crowd favorite is the Margherita pizza, with its perfectly charred crust, rich tomato sauce, and gooey mozzarella. For those who like to mix things up, the prosciutto and arugula pizza offers a wonderful contrast of salty and fresh flavors.

But the true highlight of Oblò has to be their gelato. Made with the finest ingredients, their gelato is rich, creamy, and full of flavor. From classic chocolate and vanilla to more unique flavors like pistachio and strawberry-basil, there’s something to please every sweet tooth. Whether enjoyed on its own or as a topping on one of their desserts, the gelato is the perfect way to end your meal.

The atmosphere at Oblò is warm and welcoming, with a casual yet stylish ambiance. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed dinner with friends or a romantic evening with a loved one. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or ensure that your dining experience is exceptional. You’ll also find a great selection of wines to pair with your meal, adding an extra touch of Italian authenticity to your experience.

What makes Oblò•pasta•pizza•gelato truly stand out is not just the food, but the experience of dining there. The restaurant embraces a true Italian philosophy: good food, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere. Locals often return for a quick lunch during their busy day, while tourists love it for its close proximity to the bustling streets of Phuket.

One of the standout features of Oblò is its commitment to quality. The chefs take great pride in sourcing the freshest ingredients, ensuring that every dish, from the handmade pasta to the wood-fired pizza, meets the highest standards. • The food was amazing, pasta perfectly aldente and flavorful. It’s small and cozy and private Deducting 1 star as I think they can invest a little more on ambiance (better lighting, some music, more space) and we sat outside therefore service was a little slow. But still would return and recommend!

  • A truly lovely place. You can feel the care in everything — from the pasta to the pizza, and the dessert and coffee at the end. Everything was fresh, well balanced, and made with real attention to quality. I genuinely enjoyed every part of the meal and will be happy to come back again and recommend it to all locals and visitors.

  • It’s a tiny cute pizzeria hidden away besides a hotel. Tried the veggie pizza and pesto gnocchi both were perfect. The tiramisu was light and airy had the right amount of sweetness.

  • I came across this restaurant by chance while comparing prices with other nearby places, and it stood out as quite affordable. I decided to give it a try and ended up being pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Capricciosa pizza, which was something new for me, and it left a strong impression. The dough was thin and soft, with just the right texture—not too chewy—and the toppings were well balanced, to the point where no extra sauce was needed at all. In addition to the pizza, I also ordered the porcini mushroom truffle pasta with pancetta. The pasta was served with a piece of bread on the side, which turned out to be a great touch. The pasta itself was cooked al dente, making it very enjoyable and easy to eat. After finishing the pasta, there was still some sauce left on the plate, so I tried it with the bread. The bread was soft with a pleasant chew and paired extremely well with the sauce. It was my first time enjoying bread this way with pasta, and it felt like a small but memorable new experience. Service-wise, the food took a little while to arrive, but it was still reasonable. The restaurant clearly anticipates the wait, as they designed their placemats to be coloring sheets and provided colored pencils on the table. It’s a thoughtful idea that helps pass the time, especially for families with kids. Overall, this would be a great option for a relaxed family dinner with good food and a welcoming atmosphere.

  • I’d like to give you a suggestion. Replacing fresh pineapple with canned pineapple might make it taste better, because you can’t guarantee the sweetness of fresh pineapple. The pineapple in my pizza was a bit sour, and since pizza already has tomatoes, the sourness from the pineapple made the overall flavor even more sour. Hawaiian pizza is not a traditional Italian pizza, so I think people who order it usually expect the pineapple to be sweet. But since fruit can’t guarantee the sweetness of pineapple, canned pineapple might be a better option.
